The wonderful response we’ve gotten about the 2011 Health Activist Awards is exciting! Your nominations have been incredible and we’ve gotten to meet so many new health leaders who are doing great things in their communities. We hope you’ll keep nominating those you admire for this last week of the year, before we close the nomination period on December 31st.
But now, we are thrilled to announce our Health Activist Judging Panel! We received many great applications and wish we could have chosen all of you. For our first ever Awards, these folks will be our comrades, looking through hundreds of nominations to help select the best of the best. As mentioned before, we will be hosting conference sessions where our Health Activist judges will chat with a WEGO Health team member and decide which nominees will make it to the final 5 where each judge will score the finalists. We will be tallying all the scores and announcing the winners live in our Health Activist Tweetchat on Tuesday, January 31st at 3pm ET. Until then – our lips and proverbial award envelopes will be sealed.
