November is National Health Blog Post Month

Happy November! Today marks the first day of National Health Blog PostmMonth and our #NHBPM blog carnival. That means, like with NaBloPoMo – starting today participants will be writing health blog posts every day until November is over. All month long we’ll look at what it means to be a health blogger and how writing about health is a challenge that is helping patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals every day.

For the #NHBPM Carnival  - we’ve created some fun prompts and we look forward to reading a bunch of amazing blog posts throughout the month and getting to know the Health Activists behind the blogs along the way.

If you haven’t yet, be sure to sign up to join us! Once you sign up you can get all of the prompts (60+). You don’t even have to use them now – you can use them whenever you may need some inspiration for your blog or health community.

Even if you don’t want to write every day for 30 days – why not try out a few health posts? Feel free to write whenever you’re inspired and follow along with others in the community who are writing, too. You can catch up with the new Health Blog Posts by following the #NHBPM hashtag and visiting the NHBPM Facebook Event.

Here on the WEGO Health Blog – we’ll be featuring health blogs all month long. Check back here every day to get to know new bloggers, follow them on Twitter, add them to your RSS feed, and say hello. One of the best parts of these blog carnival programs is the new connections that are made across conditions with fellow health leaders.

We look forward to learning more about the art of blogging and leading a health community this month!
